  • About Me

    Hi, I’m Krista.

    Strategic communicator and storyteller.

I am the wife of a very talented musician who takes me around the world in pursuit of excellence. Mama to Jakob, Audrey and Ella, who just happens to have Down Syndrome.
And an aspiring disciple of Jesus, defender of the oppressed, writer, graphic designer and photographer.

I write and speak on navigating through the fog of life…you know, when things don’t go exactly as planned and am fuelled by a passion to amplify the voices of those on the margins…
    oh, and coffee…lots of coffee.

See me. See my blog.

January 4, 2012

In the last little while I have discovered some amazing blogs written by amazing women in an attempt to figure out just what I want this space to look like. I stumbled across Finding Joy. I know that it may resonate with some of my readers as it is written by a homeschooling mother of 7  who is a believer and an advocate for Celiac Disease, so some of you may want to check it out. A post that caught my eye however, was called You and Your Blog. She explains how, for many of us in the blog community, our blogs are such a huge part of who we are. SO TRUE! When I consider the hours I pour into blogging, the time I use to take pictures to share on the blog and how it acts as a portal of communication while we are so far away from our family and friends, I would have to agree, that One Beautiful Life is, dare I say, a priority in my life. So Rachel suggests that you take a picture of you and your blog…for the memories.
See me.
See my blog.
Thanks for the idea Rachel!

you & your blog at finding joy
