    Hi, I’m Krista.

    Strategic communicator and storyteller.

I am the wife of a very talented musician who takes me around the world in pursuit of excellence. Mama to Jakob, Audrey and Ella, who just happens to have Down Syndrome.
And an aspiring disciple of Jesus, defender of the oppressed, writer, graphic designer and photographer.

I write and speak on navigating through the fog of life…you know, when things don’t go exactly as planned and am fuelled by a passion to amplify the voices of those on the margins…
    oh, and coffee…lots of coffee.

Meet Lord Byron

November 7, 2017

Hello! My name is Lord Bryon, but you can call me Byron for short.

I was just adopted by a totally awesome family! My mom is a Brittany Spaniel and my dad is a Border Collie which is perfect because when my new mom and dad were talking about what kind of dog they would like to get, Mom wanted a Brittany Spaniel because they are beautiful and good with kids and Dad wanted a Collie so that the dog would herd said kids. I am seven and a half weeks old and I LOVE to play.

When I’m not playing I like to sleep in my new bed, so essentially my day goes like this: pee, eat, play, sleep, pee, play sleep, pee, play sleep, pee, eat, poo, pee some more, play some more and finally, sleep. I am being a REALLY good boy and sleeping until about 4am at which time I just can’t hold it any longer and need to go to the bathroom. Then I sleep some more until a little human comes wandering out of her bedroom at 5:30am and wakes me up, which is a SUPER drag. I don’t think she got the time change memo.

I am really looking forward to life in this home. Everyone seems to love me, except for when I try to nip them. I don’t quite understand.
