    I am the wife of a very talented musician who takes me around the world in pursuit of excellence. Mama to Jakob, Audrey and Ella, who just happens to have Down Syndrome.
    And an aspiring disciple of Jesus, defender of the oppressed, writer, graphic designer and photographer.

    I write and speak on navigating through the fog of life…you know, when things don’t go exactly as planned and am fuelled by a passion to amplify the voices of those on the margins…

Frogs and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails

Sunday, I had the pleasure of document boys being boys. My, they had grown since I photographed them last year, but they had not lost any of their boyish antics or charm. The shoot was down at Centennial beach providing lots of space to run and have fun, which is,  in my opinion the best time to capture the portrait of a child.

It wasn’t a conventional shoot…but then again, I don’t know any little boys that are conventional.

And just when you are about to give up on one picture with everyone looking and smiling, you “develop” the roll the find this one….
