  • About Me

    Hi, I’m Krista.

    Strategic communicator and storyteller.

I am the wife of a very talented musician who takes me around the world in pursuit of excellence. Mama to Jakob, Audrey and Ella, who just happens to have Down Syndrome.
And an aspiring disciple of Jesus, defender of the oppressed, writer, graphic designer and photographer.

I write and speak on navigating through the fog of life…you know, when things don’t go exactly as planned and am fuelled by a passion to amplify the voices of those on the margins…
    oh, and coffee…lots of coffee.

2014 was a developmental year for this space. The stats are evidence of my efforts and of what you found most profitable and interesting. So here they are, according to you, the readers, the most read, liked and shared posts of 2014.

5.) A Long, Overdue, and Bitterly Honest Post About Baby

4.) How Having a Child With Down Syndrome Has Changed Me

3.) A Little Ella Update: 5 Years Old Already

2.) The Day Ella went Missing

and finally, your favourite post of 2014…

1.) 6 Things You May Have Said To a Parent of a Child With Down Syndrome That You Shouldn’t Feel Bad About

me and my blog circa 2012 when I had short hair…and collar bones
