    Hi, I’m Krista.

    Strategic communicator and storyteller.

I am the wife of a very talented musician who takes me around the world in pursuit of excellence. Mama to Jakob, Audrey and Ella, who just happens to have Down Syndrome.
And an aspiring disciple of Jesus, defender of the oppressed, writer, graphic designer and photographer.

I write and speak on navigating through the fog of life…you know, when things don’t go exactly as planned and am fuelled by a passion to amplify the voices of those on the margins…
    oh, and coffee…lots of coffee.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday

June 12, 2011

So I mentioned last week that I was intrigued by Ashley Sisk’s Scavenger Hunt Sunday. I say intrigued because, as a busy mom, I don’t always have time to go out and set up the shots that I envision when I read the scavenger hunt items. But I do think it is a good way to get out and get some practice with Audrey (for those of you who don’t know, that is my 60D’s name). So this week, I have just gone back through my photos and pulled out pics I think suit. Maybe next week I will get to actually taking some new photos.

Long Exposure

Shapes

Green

Fruit

Childhood Memory

The rules are simple:

  1. Anyone can participate.
  2. You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge.
  3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
  4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
  5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (we have so many new participants each week, this is the only way I know to be inclusive).
  6. Have fun!
Next weeks items are:

  • Emotion
  • From a Flower’s Point of View (Exploring with a Camera theme – check out post here)
  • Natural Frame (Miriam’s suggestion)
  • Letters (Chelsea’s suggestion)
  • Bliss (Chelsea’s suggestion)
