Going home.

At the beginning of 2012 I was posting everyday. I never lacked for something to share nor the time to share it. But there is an ebb and flow that comes with changing seasons and as of late the posts have been few and far between. Inspiration is present albeit slow as we wait with anticipation for each bud to turn into blossom. And it is in these times of change and unsettledness that my soul aches for home.

There are some souls that are meant to be by water. Mine is one of them.
And when the urge comes, there is no stopping it. You find whatever means possible to reunite with the sea and no matter where you are from, no matter what country you call your own, no matter how many miles stand between you and the community you are a part of, home is standing before the ocean's expanse. No matter how chaotic life is and no matter what storms rage around you, your heart and mind find their natural rhythm in the steady lapping of the waves.

Today, we are going to the seaside.

Krista,

Yes. I hear you. For I, too, am one of those water souls.

Enjoy going home my dear.

Angie :)

This is so perfectly written. I feel this to the depths of my being. I too need the sea. Not a want, but a need. Breathe deeply, take it all in, and may the sea stay with you long after you leave.

I know what you mean, I am another person who feels invigorated near the ocean, and when I don't get to it, I dream about (asleep and awake). It's strange since I have never lived by the ocean, but I have always dreampt about it. I went to the shore when I was in Wales, and just standing there staring out over the ocean, I felt more at home than I ever had felt before that time!!

I hope the ocean healed and invigorated. I would LOVE to see your pictures...one day when I have more money you will be providing some large prints in my home...Im not even kidding. You have talent.
I wish I was a water person. It was funny, I was reading this book called "Too loud, too bright, too fast, too bright." (about sensory issues- explained me quite well and very helpful) and it mentioned that anything to do with water often upsets sensory people...like splashing. I hate getting splashed. I literally have to hold back tears of angst...but the water is so beautiful! Sometimes I wish I could experience it like you do. I love to look at it though...
May the water soothe aches and open beauty...
