See me. See my blog.

In the last little while I have discovered some amazing blogs written by amazing women in an attempt to figure out just what I want this space to look like. I stumbled across Finding Joy. I know that it may resonate with some of my readers as it is written by a homeschooling mother of 7  who is a believer and an advocate for Celiac Disease, so some of you may want to check it out. A post that caught my eye however, was called You and Your Blog. She explains how, for many of us in the blog community, our blogs are such a huge part of who we are. SO TRUE! When I consider the hours I pour into blogging, the time I use to take pictures to share on the blog and how it acts as a portal of communication while we are so far away from our family and friends, I would have to agree, that One Beautiful Life is, dare I say, a priority in my life. So Rachel suggests that you take a picture of you and your blog...for the memories.
See me.
See my blog.
Thanks for the idea Rachel!

you & your blog at finding joy

You are quite correct, a blog is an extension of ones self. From header, titles and sub titles, pictures, music, cartoons, cursive inserts, fonts, colours and topics, all of those things give the reader an insight into the blogger heart, mind and soul.

Keep it up.

Thanks, I am definately going to check out this blog. I am working on a blog makeover and this might help me out :-) Love the pic of you, not only are you a great momma, writer, photographer...you are a beautiful lady. I love it when people put pics on their blogs of themselves, then I know who to picture when I read what they wrote!

So true! Too often in life when something happens, I automatically begin to write a blog post about it. I'm at a time in my life where change is inevitable and I'm desiring to change the look of my blog as well.

This is my first time on your blog. I've come over from The Bates Motel. I look forward to reading more about you and your family.
